Replenishment Manager / Sales Analyst
This
position is responsible for maintaining and managing
inventory levels at Distribution Centers within Wal-Mart
guidelines. Places orders through Wal-Mart’s Inforem
system as needed to stock warehouses with appropriate
levels to support stores. Track shipments to insure
on time delivery and manage lead time variance. Conduct
sales analysis using Wal-Mart’s retail link system
and internal databases to identify opportunities, maximize
inventory, recommend order quantities, and fine-tune
assortments to individual communities. Act as a secondary
contact with Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club buyers, assistant
buyers, and replenishment analysts. Assist in the creation
of displays, promotional materials, and modular plan-o-grams,
both digitally and physically.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize resources to achieve in
stock, fill rate, sales, and inventory goals
- Item creation and maintenance
on Wal-Mart systems
- Utilize CPFR to manage item forecast,
and store counts
- Place orders for product using
the Inforem system
- Analyze store demand to insure
warehouse inventory is sufficient to fulfill demand
- Track store sales by demographics,
and make comparisons to national sales data
- Act as Retail Link site administrator
- Act as secondary contact for dot
com business units
- Back-up contact for the primary
account manager
- Act as primary contact for product
testing, track requests and reports of test results
- Manage subordinate sales analyst's
duties:
- Tracking store sales and performing
detailed analysis of replenishment system settings
- Tracking and confirming delivery
of loads through Menlo Logistics
- Tracking store sales by demographics,
and making comparisons to national sales data
- Utilizing Retail Link to identify
under-performing stores/clubs and establish an
action plan along with account manager to improve
performance
- Two to three weeks travel yearly
Experience
Requirements:
- College degree required
- 2 years previous computer experience
(Excel, Word, Access, & Internet)
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access,
Internet
- 1 year previous experience in
retail analysis preferred
- Must be able to transport products
to test labs and buying offices
- Proficient in the use of Inforem
- Experience using Retail Link,
and must be able to gain access (Wal-Mart will deny
access to individuals leaving the Company to work
for a supplier)
- 1-2 years experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication
skills
