2. At what setting should I place the carpet height adjustment?
To find the best height adjustment setting, put the vacuum in the normal resting position. Turn the height adjustment to the highest setting. Turn on the vacuum and release the handle. Dial the setting down, one at a time, until your hear the tone change. This is the best setting for your carpet. If you change carpets, remember to adjust the setting for the new carept.

3. Enviro Steamer Tips: Make sure the pads are washed before the first use. Initially there may be streaks due to chemicals or additive that were applied to the pads at the time they were produced (e.g. Bleaching to make them whiter.). Make sure that the unit isn't overfilled. An easy way to do this is to forget to empty the unit from the previous use. The unit is designed to hold only 12 ounces of water. Any extra will result in overflow and soaked pads. The unit does not work effectively if the pads are soaking wet.
